Storksak® was founded in 2003 by two professionals and moms, Melanie Marshall and Suzi Bergman, who are based in London. The reality of diapering when out and about:

Most public restrooms have less than ideal facilities for a parent to diaper their baby. Often there is no room to put down your diaper bag and when there is, it is often dirty. Babies are squirmy and love to wriggle especially during diaper changes so for safety purposes, we have to strongly recommend that parents keep one hand/arm on their baby at ALL times during a diaper change. The Jess Red Label is a great satchel for all seasons. The satchel is made from a very durable, heavy duty water resistant canvas, which will stand up to plenty of abuse and still end up looking like new. The large bag measures H15" W18" D5" and features a hip design with chunky brass hardware yet still maintains some femininity with the patent leather accents and feminine lines. The bag features a very high quality adjustable shoulder strap, which resembles a well made belt and can be worn messenger style or over one shoulder.

The bag is not designed in typical satchel style and instead of a full flap which lifts up to reveal the main compartment of the bag, it has 2 "faux flaps" which open independently to reveal two roomy front pockets. This non traditional satchel style offers a significant advantage because the main compartment of the bag is easily accessed independent of the flaps, which allows parents to easily open the main compartment with one hand, with no large flaps to deal with.
