Today we are featuring the Hands on Baby Massage book, which comes with a unique Baby Massage Onesie™.

Take the Guesswork out of Baby Massage:

Clinical studies show that gentle massage is one of the best ways to promote all around health in your baby. With Michelle Kluck's ingenious Baby Massage Onesie™ and book you can just look and learn! What could be simpler than following the colorful arrows on the front and back of the onesie? The 128 page book provides additional step-by-step instructions for safe and effective baby massage. Inside, you will find tips on relieving over 15 conditions (including teething pain, skin rashes, colic, gas, constipation), plus instructions on how to soothe a crying infant or lull a fussy baby to sleep. This means more rest for moms and dads. The Baby Massage Shirt™ can be purchased separately (it does not come with the book) and is available in size 6-12 months. The Baby Massage Shirt™ comes with an easy-to-follow, instructional booklet that teaches the simple massage techniques, answers the most important questions parents ask about baby massage, and explains the benefits of baby massage for both baby and parents. Since many new parents are often afraid to touch their tiny new babies, the Baby Massage Onesie™ and Baby Massage Shirt™ can help parents overcome this fear and learn to nurture their baby through their own loving hands.

According to Michelle, baby massage promotes:

  • Fast weight gain
  • Stimulates baby's neurological development
  • Soothes baby's nervous system
  • Stimulates mental development
  • Improves baby's muscle tone and motor skills
  • Strengthens and regulates respiratory, circulatory, and gastrointestinal systems
  • Helps bonding with premature/special needs babies who remained in the hospital after birth
  • Helps parents with babies in daycare connect after hours apart

Precautions:
As is standard with all infant massage products and classes across the world, always ask your baby's pediatrician if a gentle full body massage is safe for your child. Michelle recommends always taking cues from your baby.....stop if baby seems upset or does not enjoy it. Wait at least 45 minutes after feeding, to begin the baby massage. Do not massage your baby if he is feeling ill. Do not massage over any areas that appear to be infected or irritated; seek a consult with baby's pediatrician. Wait at least one week before massaging your baby after an immunization and avoid massaging over tender site from needle.
